The key messages of this release are centered around the modernization of Content Manager, enhancements to the Microsoft 365 ecosystem integration, and improved productivity. These improvements will increase the ROI for existing customers and change the perceived notion of a “traditional EDRMS” system.


Content Manager 23.3 expands on Opentext's modernization and better together strategy with M365 by introducing key features in MS Teams integration, Manage in Place, Mobile App that improves TCO and productivity.


Content Manager 23.3 features a Microsoft Teams integration allowing for a more connected work environment. There have been enhancements made to the mobile app

The Microsoft Teams integration now supports the running of one instance of Microsoft 365 with multiple Content Manager instances, allowing organizations to segregate the filling of records according to its Content Manager ecosystem. The Content Manager mobile app will now be available on tablets, with support for MDM and an expansion on the collaboration aspect of the app. Minor enhancements to the app include records sharing, document attachment, edit record metadata, and timed auto removal of offline documents.


This release strengthens the MIP store by including support for OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Lite, Azure Blob Store, and Amazon S3. Support has been added for a modern interface for all functions and features in the SPI. These enhancements will deliver improved productivity with support for a checkout/edit/check-in with a single click.
